Business Effect

Can it damage your business?

  1. Can you afford to lose staff off sick with swine flu?
  2. Can you afford several staff off at the same time?
  3. Can you afford staff off ill in a holiday season?
  4. Would you send someone home if they showed signs of flu in case it affected other staff?

These are all concerns for any business and anything to avoid a loss of staff should be seriously considered.

Hand Hygiene

Improving hand hygiene is the single most important thing you can do to minimise the risk of swine flu at your workplace.

A hand sanitiser, just like the ones you see in hospitals, can easily be located in your workplace and used to dispense a foam which will kill germs. This practice can last for four hours.

You can also obtain handy small sanitisers that staff can have on their desks.

Tissue Disposal

We recommend the biobin for the disposal of tissues. Used with a germacide (supplied in sachets) this will kill the virus. The unit can be wall mounted or floor standing unit holds replaceable cartridges that can be quickly removed and replaced with a fresh cartridge. Used cartridges can be disposed of into normal waste.

The biobin is ideal for the disposal of tissues in the workplace. Rather than having infectous tissues in normal bins we recommend placing them in a biobin with the e-germicide sachet which kills bacteria and viruses.
